Scottish Highland Dancers

Highland Dancers are a great addition to Roddy’s piping style and a great compliment to a traditional Scottish event. They can be incorporated into before-dinner, in-between courses, or after dinner entertainment to bring the meal to a spectacular conclusion.

Roddy enjoys working with a talented troupe of Scottish Highland Dancers. Together they put on dance displays for corporate events, conferences, and weddings.

Roddy works with a combination of female and male Scottish dancers to create the best display. This can work well as some entertainment during dinner or to open a conference. They perform traditional routines including the Sword Dance and Highland Fling. They also wow guests with contemporary displays performed by mini-kilted dancers.

If you are having a ceilidh then the Highland Dancers can help with ceilidh calling to help maintain order on the dance floor. Please visit the contact page to request Highland Dancers to accompany Roddy at your event.

Tartanium

Roddy also plays with a high-octane band called Tartanium. They are a bagpipe rock band who fuse bagpipes and rock music into a contemporary Scottish stage show. Popular rock and pop medleys, modern bagpipe battles and drum fanfares along with plenty of crowd participation and foot-tapping madness, sets the Tartanium show apart. Tartanium has rocked guests at many events including performances at the VIP hospitality Scotland vs England 6 Nations Rugby. The National Museum of Scotland, Hampden Park, and Gleneagles.

For maximum impact, the band can be coupled with the Tartanium dance troupe. The Dancers perform a choreographed routine combining traditional and contemporary steps to compliment the bands funky and cutting edge sound.

Please visit the Reel Time Band site to find out more about Tartanium.

Reel Time Events can provide other types of dancers. For tap, ballet, jazz and hip hop, head over to the Reel Time site.
